As research consistently shows, a well-rounded health program, consisting of three essential components – nutrition, exercise and medical counseling, is the key to success.  The Wellness Program at Muscatine Physical Therapy Services, P.C. focuses on all of these elements and is designed to:

  • Enable our clients released from physical therapy to continue with their own independent exercise program.
  • Provide options for community members to begin an exercise program specifically designed to improve their fitness, health, & overall well-being.

A Therapist, our Wellness Coordinator, or our certified Take Shape for Life® Health Coach will work one-on-one with you to discuss your individual health goals and assess your physical capabilities before developing a personalized, detailed program that best fits your needs. Our Wellness Program can be designed to focus on some of the following goals:

    • Strength Training

    • Weight Loss

    • Improved Flexibility

    • Decreased Arthritic Pain

    • General Conditioning

    • Increased Cardiovascular Endurance

    • Stress Management

    • Prevention of Osteoporiasis

Take Shape for Life®

The Take Shape for Life® Program really is “for life”. The program, which also features Medifast® meals, provides you with more than a solution for obesity. The Medifast Program includes a preplanned, portion controlled, very low-calorie diet plan. Our own certified Take Shape for Life® Health Coachcan help determine if this is the right program for you.  Our Health Coach will provide you with all the knowledge you need to help you reach your goals and move to a healthier way of living!
