Muscatine Physical Therapy Services is a proud sponsor of the annual Day of Caring. On this day hundreds of volunteers throughout the community are matched with local agencies and residents that need assistance in completing projects they don’t otherwise have the funds and/or resources to complete. This may include painting, pulling weeds, general building/house cleaning or compete remodels.

JDRF – Walk for the Cure
MPTS Staff and family members team up together at Discovery Park for the 2011 JDRF Walk for the Cure. MPTS is proud to be a part of this cause in helping to raise funds and awareness to help support Juvenile Diabetes. As Type 1 Diabetes is on the rise, most often diagnosed in childhood that strikes suddenly and lasts a lifetime. The walk draws people together in a healthy activity for a very worthy cause. All proceeds benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
GMCCI – Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry
Muscatine Physical Therapy Services, P.C. has been a Chamber Member proudly supporting the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and the community of Muscatine since 1991. The MPTS Team recently hosted a GMCCI ‘Business After Hours’ Event at our new facility. MPTS will be accepting their 20 year award from the Chamber of Commerce at this year’s Award Banquet.

With Iowa experiencing the largest deployment of National Guard and Reserve military since WWII, Iowa employers have been asked to show their support for these men and women, many of whom are our employees. Muscatine Physical Therapy Services proudly has been a strong supporter of those men and women who courageously defend our freedom and their loved ones.
Senior Resources – MOW – Meals on Wheels allows many residents to remain in their homes by providing nutritional meals and friendly daily contact with the help of community volunteers. Staff members at MPTS rotate monthly to help support Senior Resources and their seniors with these great services. Our staff, along with the many other dedicated volunteers in the program, contribute their time helping to provide this great service to our residents in Muscatine. This program helps provide these families and their caregivers the comfort and assurance that their love ones are being cared for.
Sport Your Team Charity Fridays Each Friday staff members have the opportunity to sport their sporting team by wearing a shirt in their team colors, or official shirt. Funds collected are quarterly donated to a charity that has been brought forth to the team as a worthy cause. In the past we have sponsored Blessings in a Backpack, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, National Breast Cancer Awareness, Senior Outreach Christmas Project.
